Description
Dome head pop rivets are the ideal self-contained fasteners for attaching pliable objects to more rigid ones.
- Dome head pop rivets have wider heads, improving weight load.
 - ³⁄₁₆" head diameter with a .191" shank diameter.
 - Steel mandrels make our ³⁄₁₆" dome head rivets stronger.
 - When you install the rivet, the mandrel presses into the rivet body, mushrooming the head and snapping off the mandrel.

³⁄₁₆" Dome Head Pop Rivets - Key Features
Unlike pure aluminum dome head pop rivets, our rivets have a steel mandrel. Rivets having both an aluminum mandrel and body are generally softer and more prone to distortion. The steel mandrel snaps off more readily, giving you a smoother finish and making for easier handling.
Our 3/16" Dome Head Pop Rivets come in various lengths, or grip max lengths, indicating the maximum width of the surfaces you can use them on. For instance, if you’re attaching a ¼" plywood board to a ½" steel frame, you require a grip of ¾". Our grip range max starts at ³⁄₁₆" and goes up to 1⅜".
